Bristol Bilbao F.C.

Bristol Bilbao Football Club was founded in early 2012 by a group of very close friends, with the sole intention of wanting to play together and for each other. The clubs philosophy is play hard and prosper and everyone at the club has this embedded in their thoughts at all times.

The 2013/14 season proved highly successful, and our second season saw us become the first team in the history of the Bristol and Suburban League to complete a full season with a 100%. Adding to this we also won the GFA Intermediate Cup Final and in doing so we have now won back-to-back league titles and back-to-back league and cup doubles. We now compete in Division 1 of the Bristol and Suburban League.

The club continues to grow and we welcome a number of new signings to Bilbao, all of whom have settled in well and have embraced the clubs running philosophy. Our performances on the pitch have not gone unrecognised off the pitch and we would like to welcome and thank the large support we receive from the Basque region of Spain.

As we continue to rise up the footballing pyramid we have had to make adjustments on and off the pitch to accommodate this. We have moved from Dunridge Farm, Hanham to South Bristol Sports Centre, Brislington which is where we have historically trained but we can now call our home.

The aim this season will be to once more continue with our push towards the County league and in doing so we will be looking for success in both league and cup competitions. The growth and exposure of the club has constantly matched our ambition and success and so for the 2015/2016 we will be establishing a reserve team to support our continued growth.

We are an ambitious, exciting and friendly club looking only for players who are prepared to buy into the clubs philosophy and who want to play for the club in turn.
